Is your dog digging under your fence? Our Dig Proofer system is a simple and extremely effective solution to prevent digging and possible escapes. This no-dig dog fence works with any fence type, whether you have wood, metal, chain link, PVC, brick, block, or something else.
The Dig Proofer System uses heavy-duty black vinyl-coated galvanized welded steel wire mesh to create a physical barrier on the ground leading up to your fence. The bottom of this no-dig dog fence is staked into the ground using heavy galvanized metal stakes. The top is held in place with staples, screws, zip ties, or your choice of fastener, depending on the fence material (fasteners are not included due to the wide variety of fencing materials, though they can be purchased separately).
We offer two different sizes of Dig Proofer to keep dogs from digging under the fence:
The Standard version of our no-dig dog fence features 24 inches tall welded wire mesh, which allows for 8-12 inches of coverage on the ground, and 8-12 inches of vertical coverage up the fence.
The XL version features 42 inches tall welded wire mesh so that you can install coverage up to 24-30 inches on the ground and still allow for 12 inches of coverage vertically up the fence.
The welded wire squares are 1.7" x 1.7" and the wire diameter is approximately 2.0-2.2mm, so your dog cannot scratch, chew, or fit through it, but grass can easily grow. The welded wire of our no-dig dog fence can also be trimmed to accommodate certain heights or work around obstructions in the fence line.

Wrought Iron / Aluminum ⏤ UV-resistant zip ties (not included) are used to hold the wire mesh to your fence securely. One tie at least every 12 inches is recommended to keep your dog from digging under the fence.
Wood ⏤ Use heavy-duty staples or "romex" staples (not included) to hold fencing to wood surfaces. If pickets are small enough, zip ties can also be used.
Brick & Block ⏤ Our no-dig dog fence can also be installed on these surfaces. Specialty masonry fasteners will need to be used with washer heads (not included) to securely hold the mesh wire to the surface.
Chain Link ⏤ UV-resistant zip ties (not included) are used to hold the wire mesh to your fence securely. One tie at least every 12 inches is recommended. Alternatively, you can use Hog Rings, which are much stronger and more durable.

I was thrilled when my contractor sent me pictures of the Houdini-Proof kit to prevent climbing and jumping over fences, sold by Dog-Proofer. It was a bit pricey, but the peace of mind is well worth it. Since my Husky, Lexi, also likes to dig, I went back to the site and discovered that they also had a kit to prevent digging. Bought that as well, and now Lexi can run and jump and play to her hearts content (I also have doggie door in the kitchen wall). The kit is very well designed and once installed, the fence and yard still look great...it is not Intrusive to the overall look of the yard and fence. I really love it and send pictures to all my dog owning friends! Now we can get her a buddy to play with and know that they are both safe and secure in their big back yard!

This fence stopped my dog from digging under the fence! I’m a 73 woman and was able to bend the wires to the perfect height and width and install it completely by my self. Definitely worth the price! I highly recommend this product!!
Howdy! I have a medium sized pit/boxer that has become an evil little escape artist. When we decided we were moving houses, I thought it would be a good idea to get this kit to ensure she wouldn't escape at the new house. I won't lie, it was hard work, but it was worth it and I couldn't be happier. It's flexible enough that you can really decide how much is underground/above ground, but not too flexible that I feel like my dog could move it on her own. Just a heads up, the hog rings that you'll need to attach the above ground fencing to your actual fence are not included in the kit, but you can find a big pack of them on Amazon, so that really wasn't much of an inconvenience. I would sincerely recommend this to others that worry about their pup as much as I do.

I bought this for my sons yard, he has an ecape artist little pug/boxer at getting out of the yard. This fence cured that problem. Plus the yard is not getting dug up anymore. This product is great. Well worth it.
This is a wonderful product! I had tried everything but still had one determined escapee. Now I guess she wonders what happened! Thank you very much for a great solution to a dangerous problem! Worth every penny!
