Let customers speak for us
from 815 reviewsGreat product, easy to install and well packaged when shipped. instructions were right on and very easy to follow. For those of you thinking “will this product really be dog proof”, you can come watch my Rhodesian Ridgeback look at the new extension and turn around and chase chipmunks. Seriously, great product!
After having a dog climb over our 4' tall fence, Dog Proofer popped up in my search results as an affordable and easy way to extend the height of existing fences. I used the website to get exactly what I needed and installed everything over the course of several days. The most difficult part was installing the mesh as it was really a two person operation. I painted the bottom of the extension arms that attached to the vinyl fence so that it would blend in better. The fencing essentially disappears above our existing fence and does not impeded our view of the woods and pond behind our house. I have already recommended Dog Proofer to other people that we know.
This ladder is the absolute best! Our dogs figured it out right away. It does not float but we bought floating key chain rings for the the pins that allow it to fold up just incase, and bought a bungee dock line with a carabiner
That we attach to it and the boat “just in case “ we dropped it. Seems to work great. Found a good YouTube video for the install. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8WLEt-hNWMc&ra=m
works great so far
Works perfectly. We have over 300ft of fencing and my husband installed this by himself in about half a day. Our smaller dog can no longer escape which was the main goal, but another plus is the gap barrier is hardly noticeable even from just a short distance, but especially long distance, so it doesn’t ruin the aesthetic of your fence! Worth every penny.
We adopted a new dog who could have jumped over our 4.5 foot fence. The fence extender has given us peace of mind knowing our dogs are safe in our yard.
I moved to a place with a wrought iron fence but my 2 small dogs could walk through the rails. I had them wearing inflatable collars, but that wasn't sustainable. I had the dog proofer fence installed inside the wrought iron fence with the included zip ties, problem solved. Practically invisible, it's effective and nice looking. Get this!
After many DIY attempts the curved fence extension has been the solution keeping our tall hound dog from climbing over the fence! It has been several months and he has about given up!
We have two miniature dachshund’s who want to squeeze through anything. Installing this to our aluminum fence has been a life savor. Easy and to the point. We did have to purchase extra zip ties though.
Our escape artist is staying in the yard and enjoying it now. Fence addition less noticeable than I thought, so works aesthetically too
I installed the steel mesh version of the extension kit and am very pleased with the outcome. I had a 4 foot high chainlink fence that was supposed to have 12 foot distance between the posts. Most of the posts were spaced about 13.8 feet. I took my time and used plenty of tie straps and the extension is plenty sturdy. There is no way that my 43lb Pit Bull will ever tear it down. Their poles and U-bolts are extremely strong. If you install the system correctly you will have no problems.
This looks and works excellent. We never thought our puppy now 45 pound dog would still be fitting through the metal fence. But we had to now make a more permanent fix and got this. We were putting up green constriction type plastic from the hardware store but that looked tacky. We got this and you can barely tell it’s there but works perfectly!! Highly recommend!
The fence was easy to install and my dog loves it
