Our two weimaraners, 65 and 75 pounds, were trained on an inflatable pup plank. But, that no longer worked when we got a boat with a higher swim platform. We tried several alternatives that were either cumbersome or ineffective. Then we discovered the Waterdog product, four bolts later had it installed. Our 6 yo figured it out instantly. Our klutzy puppy is still learning to swim and only figured out the house stairs a few months ago. Even he had it dialed in during our first outing. The quality impresses. My only addition will be key chain floats on the two Detent Ring Pins.

This ladder works great on back of pontoon boat, we have a 70lb and a 14 week old labs and they both took no time at all getting use to it up and down. I did buy the dock version ladder so I could flip up any store when moving.

A perfect, well-built solution to the age old issue of getting dogs back onto your dock. Dead simple for them to figure out, flips out of the water when not in use, and built from resilient, rust-proof materials. So pleased that these guys did the hard work of solving this issue! Our 68 pound chocolate lab has climbed it twice with difficulty. Hoping he acclimates to it soon. The ladder is narrow and a little flimsy compared to aluminum wet steps.

Easy to install on our dock, also easy to store on top of the dock when not using! Our chocolate lab loves this ladder, he easily navigates up and out of the water, doesn't seem to strain or struggle while climbing up - such a relief to have found this!!!

Love it! After a couple training sessions our Molly had use of the ladder down pat. Could not be happier with the product
