Houdini-Proof Fence Extender for Dogs

The fence extension arms were very easy to install. I had my own wire from a previous attempt to keep the dogs contained which worked perfectly added to the arms.

We have a new Cavapoo puppy with a fenced backyard. Our current fence is metal with the slats far enough apart to allow our puppy ( and full grown dog) to walk right thru. The dog proofer fence was the perfect solution. As the website says, it’s virtually impossible to notice it as it blends right in to our existing fence. We ordered on a Monday and it arrived Wednesday. It really wasn’t that difficult to attach to our fence. I highly recommend buying the zip tie tool. It allows you to both tighten the zip tie and cut it cleanly. All in all, one of those purchases that actually exceeded my expectations…and that doesn’t happen very often.

I have a 1 year old French Bulldog that was able to find the areas to scoot under the fence and visit the neighbors. Instead of just treating the low areas I decided to treat my entire fence line with No Dig. It’s 700 feet of fencing and I did it myself (I am in my late 50’s) in about 10 hours. I used the hog tie gun and a hand cart to move the fencing boxes around the yard. I did have to apply some WD40 to the hog tie gun, it seemed to start sticking halfway through the project. I did have to call customer service and a real person answered (that’s worth a five star rating right there!) and they were very helpful. The box of hog ties can be found in the box that contains the fencing. I am very happy with the entire process.

I am thrilled with how easy it was to install our Dog Proofer Kit. The directions are thorough and product is high quality. My dogs have not been able to challenge the barrier by digging under. I feel that this is a great solution for us.

Two people completely installed 370 feet of wire fence extension including 50 posts in about 8 hours, in sub-freezing weather on very uneven terrain. It is taut and virtually indistinguishable from our existing fence. Can you install it alone? Yes, but it is far easier with two people. If you are on uneven terrain, get an extra bag or two of zip ties, and definitely get the zip tie tool! Most importantly, my Great Pyrenees is now completely contained.

Easy to install and really works!

We moved and built another catio at new home, but were limited in where to put a cat door to access the catio. We had to put it in a tempered window, so we removed the window and took it to a local glass company. I gave them the cat door to put in. They ordered new glass for the frame, cut the hole then tempered the glass and attached the door. It works and looks great!

This fence was easy to install and held sturdy with the metal stakes provided. I'm confident my dogs are secure now and there will be no more digging out! The dog proofer is essentially invisible on my chain link fencing. Very happy customer.

I can’t say enough good things about the Dog Proofer Freestanding Fence. It truly saved my dog Stanley’s life. He’s a big, energetic Labrador Retriever who loves to test boundaries! Before getting this fence, I was constantly worried he’d run into the street or chase after squirrels.

The setup was surprisingly easy, and the quality is outstanding. Stanley jumps up on it all the time, and it hasn’t budged or bent even once. It’s solid, and I now trust that he’s safe when outside. For any dog owner with a large or determined dog, this fence is 100% worth it.

We inherited a 5-year-old German shepherd and soon discovered that she could get over or almost 6-foot fence. Your product is very nicely made. The tools were definitely helpful and made the installation very efficient.

This has been used to extend a wooden deck railing. I wasn’t sure it would work but it was the only thing I found that seemed a remote possibility. Happy to report that it’s kept my Cattledog mix safely on HIS side of the deck!
